One of the biggest Automotive Events of the year is happening this April 10-13 and here are some of the vehicles that you can look forward to:

The BAIC B60e is range extended, plug-in electric vehicle that boasts some pretty impressive numbers. It has a 1.5L gasoline engine used exclusively to charge the 40.3kWh battery. I has 150km of pure ev range and a total range of 1200km. It puts out 548hp and 655Nm of torque. And it has a luxurious interior with massaging seats

The B40 Trailmaster is a more modern take on the B40 Dune. It features the same mechanical bits as the B40 dune, like the front and rear locking differentials and the 2.0L diesel engine. But it now gets a lot more creature comforts like a 360 camera, retractable sidesteps, ADAS among others. The B40 Trailmaster will not replace the B40 dune in BAIC’s lineup. They will be sold alongside each other.

Chery Tiggo Cross: The Tiggo Cross is a sub 1 million peso crossover that promises to offer a lot of value for money. It will come with built-in apple carplay and android auto and a pretty spacious cabin for the price. Chery will also launch a very aggressively priced 7 seater PHEV

The Lynk&Co 02 Is a BEV with 435km of range and a power output of 272hp and 343Nm of torque, it features minimalist interior styling and a coupe-like roofline. It has a huge 15.4inch screen, a 14-speaker Harman Kardon sound system and wireless Apple Carplay.

BYD Emax7: The BYD Emax 7 is a fully electric MPV that comes in 6 and 7 seater configurations. It can squeeze 530km out of its 70.8kWh Blade battery, it has a power output of 201hp and it will compete with the mid and top spec innova in terms of pricing.

Isuzu Mu-X: The Isuzu Mu-X was formally launched last April 4 but the public will get to see and drive it first at MIAS 2025. It features more aggressive styling, a rear differential lock and interior ambient lighting

The GWM Haval H9 4×4 is a diesel PPV that boasts LC300-like size and styling at fortuner-like prices. It’s powered by a 2.4L diesel engine coupled to a 9 speed gearbox. The interior is premium and spacious. It has a comprehensive list of ADAS features, it comes GWM’s intelligent torque-on-demand 4wd system with locking differentials

GWM cannon: The Canon will receive a facelift this year. It gets a more rugged looking front end and a more premium looking interior. It’s powered by the same 2.4L engine that powers the H9

Vinfast VF6
Details of the local spec VF6 are currently sparse but overseas, it comes with a 59.6kWh battery, and over 200hp.

Omoda Jaecoo: Expect to see Omoda and Jaecoo’s newest vehicles. The EJ6 is a 4wd all-electric off roader SUV with 278hp and 385Nm of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels with bias at the rear. Also expect to see the C5, an all-electric crossover and the E5 a compact ICE crossover

These are just some of the launches that we have confirmed information on. But expect a lot of surprises from the other participants this year.
