Vietnamese electric vehicle maker VinFast is set to bring its all-electric taxi and ride-hailing service, Green SM, to the Philippines. Already a dominant player in Vietnam’s mobility sector under the Xanh SM brand, the company is now expanding across Southeast Asia with the Philippines as its next destination.
Green SM operates a fleet of fully electric VinFast vehicles, offering passengers a cleaner, quieter, and more premium alternative to traditional taxis. Beyond customer experience, it also provides stable income opportunities for drivers through lower operating costs and competitive pay structures.
After successful rollouts in Vietnam, Laos, and Indonesia, the brand’s Philippine launch signals a major step in reshaping urban transportation with sustainability at its core.
