GAC Philippines has expanded its local lineup with the launch of three new multi-purpose vehicles (MPVs): the All-New GN6, E8 HEV, and GN8 PHEV Executive. Introduced on July 30, the three models target different segments of the MPV market, ranging from family transportation to executive mobility. According to the company, the lineup is built on more than a decade of MPV development and follows a shared design philosophy centered on flexible cabin space, passenger comfort, and efficient performance.

Serving as the entry-level model, the All-New GAC GN6 is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine producing 176.7 PS and 270 Nm of torque, paired with a seven-speed wet dual-clutch transmission. It rides on a 2,810 mm wheelbase and measures 4,792 mm long, 1,837 mm wide, and 1,750 mm tall. Inside, the seven-seater features a 190 mm center aisle for easier cabin access and offers 324 liters of luggage space with all seats in use, expanding to 1,100 liters when the third row is folded. Standard equipment includes a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14.6-inch infotainment display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, six airbags, a 360-degree camera, and a suite of advanced driver assistance systems.

Positioned above the GN6 is the GAC E8 HEV, which combines a 2.0-liter hybrid gasoline engine with an electric motor for improved efficiency. The gasoline engine produces 140 PS and 180 Nm of torque, while the electric motor generates 182 PS and 300 Nm. Power is delivered through a two-speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission, with GAC claiming a driving range of more than 1,000 kilometers from its 60-liter fuel tank and a WLTC-rated fuel consumption of 5.58 L/100 km. Built on a 2,930 mm wheelbase, the E8 HEV offers up to 18 seating configurations, Zero Gravity second-row seats with ventilation, massage, and power leg rests, as well as cargo capacity that expands from 345 liters to 1,917 liters with the rear seats folded.

The flagship GN8 PHEV Executive is a full-size seven-seat plug-in hybrid MPV measuring 5,247 mm long with a 3,070 mm wheelbase. It combines a 2.0-liter turbocharged Miller-cycle engine with an electric motor to produce a combined 373 horsepower and 630 Nm of torque. Its 25.5 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery provides an NEDC-rated electric range of up to 120 kilometers and a total claimed driving range of 1,038 kilometers. DC fast charging allows the battery to charge from 30 to 80 percent in approximately 45 minutes. Interior features include second-row captain’s chairs with heating, ventilation, massage, and power leg rests, a 16-speaker audio system, tri-zone climate control, PM2.5 air filtration, a panoramic roof, and dual power-sliding doors.
