Nissan Philippines has officially launched the all-new Nissan Kicks e-POWER, bringing a new generation of its electrified subcompact SUV to the local market. The new Kicks gets updated styling, a more technology-focused interior, and Nissan’s e-POWER system, which was first introduced to Filipino buyers with the previous-generation Kicks in 2022.

The Kicks is powered by a 1.2-liter three-cylinder gasoline engine that acts as a generator, while the wheels are driven exclusively by an electric motor. The system produces 136 PS and 280 Nm of torque, giving the Kicks the responsive feel of an EV without requiring external charging. The gasoline engine simply generates electricity to power the system and recharge the battery when needed.

Inside, the Kicks gets a 12.3-inch Display Audio system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with NissanConnect Services. It also features Zero Gravity seats, anti-heat leather upholstery, and a six-way power-adjustable driver’s seat. Rear passengers get an optimized seatback angle and a rear armrest for added comfort.

Safety technology is another major highlight, with Nissan ProPILOT providing steering, acceleration, and braking assistance. Other features include Intelligent Cruise Control, lane-keeping assistance, blind-spot warning and intervention, rear automatic emergency braking, rear cross-traffic alert, and an Intelligent Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection.

The new Nissan Kicks e-POWER is offered in three variants: VE at ₱1.499 million, VL at ₱1.649 million, and LE Plus at ₱1.749 million under the current launch promotion. The range-topping LE Plus also gets an exclusive black roof, while all variants are available with four exterior colors. With its electric motor-driven powertrain, advanced safety technology, and updated cabin, the new Kicks brings a more sophisticated package to the local subcompact SUV segment.
