May 23, 2024, Okada Manila: Ford finally launches the Ford Bronco.

The 5-door, purpose-built SUV is a far more imposing sight in the metal than in photos. It measures 4,811mm long, 2,190mm wide, 1,854mm tall and it has a ground clearance of 292mm. It comes with 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels wrapped in Goodyear Territory 315/70 R17 (35-inch) mud-terrain tires, high clearance fender flares, and a carbonized rooftop.

Turning all four wheels is a 2.7L EcoBoost engine that puts out 335PS and 555Nm of torque, coupled to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Front and rear differential lockers come as standard. It’s based on a tough ladder frame chassis with a double wishbone suspension setup at the front and a rigid axle at the back.  Position-sensitive BILSTEIN Shock Absorbers are equipped on all four corners. It comes with G.O.A.T (Go Over Any Terrain) which is a collection of drive modes that should allow the Bronco to go over any terrain.

The exterior features retro-modern styling reminiscent of the Wrangler. The roof and doors are even removable, allowing for a truly authentic sand-in-your-face experience. Color options are: Eruption Green, Race Red, Cactus Gray, Oxford White, Azure Gray (additional P20,000), and Shadow Black.

On the inside, it will come with a 12-inch infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto, a 10-inch Bose sound system with a subwoofer, power-adjustable leather-wrapped seats, a wireless phone charger, dual-zone climate control, and an electronic parking brake. The Bronco is a strictly a 5-seater.

It will come standard with Ford Co-Pilot360, which includes Adaptive Cruise Control, Auto High-Beam Headlights, Blind Spot Information System (BLIS®) with Cross-Traffic Alert, Lane Keeping System, and Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking.

The new Ford Bronco will come in one variant, priced at P4,998,000.
