Just months after launching the Sealion 6, BYD launches another plug-in hybrid, the Seal 5. The Seal 5 features the same DM-i technology as the Sealion 6 but packages it in a sedan form factor.
The Seal 5 comes in 2 variants in the Philippines, the Dynamic and the Premium.
The Premium comes with a bigger 18.3kWh battery, an EV range of 115km, an extended range of 1240km and a power output of 194hp and 325Nm of torque.
The more affordable Dynamic variant gets a smaller 8.3kWh battery, an EV range of 50km, an extended range of 1175lkm and a power output of177hp and 316Nm of torque.
