May 29, 2025 — The Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI) marked its 30th anniversary with a gala at the Grand Hyatt Manila in Taguig City. With the theme “30 Years and Beyond: Together, Driving the Future of Mobility,” the event brought together government officials, industry leaders, members of the automotive media and representatives from CAMPI’s 28 member companies.

Department of Transportation Secretary Vicencio “Vince” Dizon led the roster of guests, highlighting the government’s support for the mobility sector. CAMPI Chairman Jose Chaves Alvarez emphasized the association’s three-decade contribution to economic growth, job creation, and improved mobility, crediting its success to strong public-private collaboration.

As CAMPI looks ahead, it unveiled a four-pillar roadmap to guide the industry’s evolution:

  • Technology & Innovation: Embracing EVs, connectivity, and automation
  • Sustainability: Driving carbon neutrality and fuel diversification
  • Road Safety: Promoting global safety standards and protocols
  • Industry Development: Focusing on talent upskilling and regional integration

“These pillars will steer the Philippine auto industry toward a resilient, future-ready path,” said CAMPI President Atty. Rommel Gutierrez.

CAMPI Welcomes New Members,

CAMPI also announced the expansion of its membership to 27 companies, with BAIC, Lynk & Co, Tesla, and VinFast joining the fold, signaling a dynamic shift in the Philippine automotive landscape.
